Youth Vaccine Forum June 3, 2021!

This Thursday June 3 at 6pm the Yolo County Office of Education and Public Health are co-hosting an online webinar/forum for youth vaccines! The event is targeting students 12+ as well as their families countywide. Dr. Sisson will present on a review of Yolo County’s progress so far vaccinating residents, especially those 12+, how the Pfizer vaccine works, benefits of being vaccinated, side effects, and address some common myths. There will be a Q&A session following the presentation.

The event is entirely online and will be in English and Spanish. The flyers are attached! We are also excited to share that yesterday the State of California announced Vax for the Win (pdf), an incentive reward program. People vaccinated at Yolo County clinics will be eligible for the program.
