Public Hearing Notice 06/02/2020 (Landscape and Maintenance)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Winters will hold
a public hearing at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, on Tuesday,
June 2, 2020, to consider an annual levy of assessment for the City-Wide
Maintenance Assessment District.
The revenues provide for maintenance of parks and electricity for street
lighting.
The intention is to not increase the existing assessments adopted for fiscal
year 2020-2021. The Winters electorate approved assessments for a City-Wide
Maintenance Assessment District on June 3, 1997. The maximum annual
assessment rate is $82.50 per dwelling unit and $26.25 for improved nonresidential
lots.
All interested persons are invited to and be heard at the time of hearing.
Those unable to attend may submit written comments to the City Clerk, 318 First
Street, Winters, CA 95694. Written comments will be received at or prior to the
public hearing.
