PG&E Update
Good morning, all.
I am forwarding a press release from PG&E (pdf) related to power outages in Northern California. As of last night, in Yolo County approximately 40,000 people were still without power as is a section of downtown Winters. We were advised that it could take 3-4 days to restore power throughout the County, and a PG&E alert indicates they will begin working here in Winters tomorrow afternoon.
To assist people without power, we have opened the Community Center as a charging station. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until power is restored. The center's telephone number is 530-795-4241. Please note, Meals on Wheels is operating from the center today so the kitchen will be unavailable until meal services has ended around 1 p.m.

City Hall is also without power so the building is closed. Staff have relocated to the Public Safety Facility and basic city services are still operating from that location. However, please note that the Public Safety Facility is not open to the public. If you need to reach city staff, please continue to use phone numbers you have on file, email us, or call 530-794-6700.
