Fire Hazard Severity Zone meeting in Winters tomorrow

Good morning, all. My apologies for the late notice; however, I just received an email that tomorrow, Thursday, at 2 p.m. CalFire will conduct a public hearing regarding the recently updated CalFire Hazard Severity Maps for the State of California. The meeting will be held in the Fire Station’s community room, 700 W. Main Street.

For more information regarding the updated maps, please see attached pdf. The City of Winters continues to be outside of a fire risk zone; however, the west county area is obviously in low, moderate and high risk zones.
