Greetings, all. Please see the attached Friday Update for information regarding the annual Fireworks Show. For those who have donated to help support this community event, thank you very much!
We’re looking for volunteers to help staff the paid parking lots on Railroad (school district ones and the dirt Mariani lots). If you’d like to volunteer, please contact albert.vallecillo@cityofwinters.org.
A big thank you to the volunteer firefighters and WFD association for funding DJ Barnett at the football field during the event. They’ll play all kinds of music and will take requests to keep the family fun hopping and bopping for everyone.
A big thank you to Mariani Nut and the WJUSD for allowing us to charge for parking at the School District lots and the dirt lots on Railroad next to Mariani Nut.
Please, everyone, respect private property and pack out your trash if the receptacles are overflowing. Please do not shoot off any fireworks from someone else’s property (i.e. the parking lots) And remember that the use of illegal fireworks could result in a $1,000 fine.
