Administrative Services – Website Posting Requirements – Re: Form 700

Effective January 1, 2013, City and County clerks who maintain a website are required to post a notification on the website related to Form700 which includes the following:

1. A list of names and position titles for each of the elected officers identified in Section 87200;

2. A statement that copies of the Statements of Economic Interests (SEI’s) for these elected officers may be obtained by visiting the office of the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) or the city or county clerk’s office, as well as the physical address for both locations;

3. A link to the FPPC’s website and a statement that SEI’s filed by certain state and local government agency elected officers are available in electronic format on the FPPC’s website.
