Storm Update on Friday January 6 2017

All,

Lots of questions regarding the upcoming storm and where to get help or find sand and bags. Looks like we might get a little rain this weekend!

A sand pile and bags will be located at the north dead end of East Street (between our Corporation Yard and Yolo Credit Union). The sand is in the street along with bags. For people who need the sand, it is first come to get it. Bring your own shovel and take only what you need as far as sand and bags.

Check our City of Winters Facebook for updates. We will monitor the site to respond to questions and inquiries.

Overall, a January storm is not a bad thing for us. All our storm drains are clean, leaves have mostly dropped and our chain saws are sharp.

Have a nice weekend and try to stay dry!!

John
