One of the most amazing feats in the history of our community was the volunteer construction of the wooden playground structure at City Park. It took the tremendous effort of many volunteers and community members to create one of the coolest playgrounds around. That was 1989!
On what is about the 25th anniversary of that playground construction, it is time to begin preparing for new generations of kids and a new structure.
An incredible group of parents are stepping forward to begin that process and the Design Night will be on September 28 from 6-8 at Shirley Rominger School. The evening will include an opportunity to have input on design elements and to become a part of an important group setting the stage for the future for our kids.
Attached(pdf) is the flyer and I encourage folks to attend!
