On July 13 at 6:00 p.m. there will be a community workshop via Zoom on the proposed Farmstead subdivision. The subdivision will be located on the 62 acre parcel of land on the north side of East Grant Avenue north of the intersection with East Main Street. There is a brief description of the proposed project and a site plan on the city’s landing page for Major Projects.
The purpose of the meeting will be to introduce the public to the project before any entitlements are considered, get feedback and answer any questions. This workshop is the first of several opportunities for the public to comment on the proposed project as it goes through the entitlement process. The City is initiating the development of an Environmental Impact Report for the proposed project, which requires the developer to confirm the project scope, alternatives, and potential impacts. The environmental review process will also include opportunities for public comment and agency feedback. Updates will be shared with the public as the project progresses through the planning process.
